The recorder as a part of the bottom seismo station is intended for seismological researches and for the seismology monitoring. The recorder is intended for data acquisition, primary processing and storage in a digital form of information in non-volatile Flash-memory. The analog signals come in from 3 seismic sensors and 1 hidrophone.
Functioning

Recorder stores data and service information (GPS coordinates, start time, duty information and comments) ) in digital form in Flash-memory in its own format.

Recorders management realized using HOST PC (desk or Notebook IBM PC) OS Windows 2000 or higher) by means of special software through Ethernet cable.

Software for PC provide initial setup of recorder, its testing, uploading data and data preliminary computing and viewing.
After parameter data acquisition has set up recorder ready to data acquisite in on-line or off-line modes.

ПData acquisition management realized by special software during seismic station initialization process.

Before and after data acquisition recorder can receive information from GPS (coordinates and time).

Start of data acquisition in each mode can be carried out on time according to a schedule made beforehand.

Mode data viewing 'Oscilloscope' is realized.

Recorder built-in seismostation saves its work parameters in the next conditions:

  • relative humidity (at 25 °С) not more, then: 95%

Programmable filter of the low frieqency, Hz: 1-5.
Gains of the seismic channel: 2; 10; 40; 100; 400.
Amplitude identity of the seismic channels: not more then 1%.
Sinfase signal suppression, dB: not less then 70.
Channel weakness, dB: not less then 80.
Data acquisition modes: start-stop or continuous.
Step of the data acquisition duration chadge, s: 1.
Input impedance, kOhm: not less then 5.
Hole dinamic range (in 4-40 Hz band), dB: not less then 130.

Instantaneous dinamic range (in 4 -40 Hz band), dB:
  • for gain = 2 not less then 110 dB;
  • for gain = 10 not less then 110 dB;
  • for gain = 40 not less then 105 dB;
  • for gain = 100 not less then 100 dB.


RMS in general mode: Tq = 8ms, work band 4..40 Hz, mkV :
  • for gain = 2 not less then 1.0;
  • for gain = 10 not less then 0.3;
  • for gain = 40 not less then 0.15;
  • for gain = 100 not less then 0.1;
  • for gain = 400 not less then 0.09.
